Warhol in Bergen
In this piece I explore transformation of a classic theme into a contemporary version reminiscences of Andy Warhol's pop style. Bergen is a city on Norway’s southwestern coast. It's surrounded by mountains and fjords, including Sognefjord, the country’s longest and deepest. The colourful flowers in the foreground by the feet of the vase are made from a collage of photographs I took in the town form several gardens during the month of August 2016.
